Jeffrey Raphael B.A., LL.B, J.D

With expertise in personal injury and disability litigation as well as insurance law, Jeff Raphael has represented clients in various courts and tribunals throughout Ontario, including the Superior Court of Ontario, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Not only have his successful decisions helped his clients, but he has also been able to establish precedent setting law that has helped the public in general.

Jeff has built a reputation by fighting for the rights of his clients. He provides competent, common sense advice to help his clients make the choices which best meet their needs.

Jeff joined Raphael Barristers upon his call to the Bar. A graduate of York University and Osgoode Hall Law School, he has also pursued studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.

Jeff is actively involved in his profession and in his community. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. He also participates annually in fund raising for the Brain Injury Society of Toronto and has helped young people through his involvement as a Big Brother.

A sports enthusiast and athlete, Jeff has coached the Osgoode Hall Law School basketball team since 1995. Formerly a member of the York University varsity basketball team, he also represented Canada in basketball at the 1997 Maccabia games in Israel, earning a gold medal. Jeff and his wife Dalia have 3 daughters.
