Angelica Velman, Consultant

Angelica Velman joined the Raphael Barristers medical legal team in 2005.

After completing an Honors Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Behavioral Sciences, Angelica went on to develop a specialized interest in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.

She served the catastrophically injured client in the community as a case manager / rehabilitation consultant for the insurance sector for 14 years prior to joining Raphael Barristers. Angelica further trained, and clinically practiced administration and evaluation of adult and pediatric neuropsychological testing. She also was a member of a Catastrophic Determination team. Her education and training well prepared her to work with individuals and families who have been victimized by serious and catastrophic injuries.

Angelica adds a unique touch to Raphael Barristers in that she personally works with each and every client, family and rehabilitation team advocating for the client from early intervention often still in hospital right throughout their rehabilitation and recovery until their claim has been successfully resolved.
